Fregola Rustica Mix

This enticing mix of Quinoa, Wild rice and Fregola sarda (pasta), for an elegant, savory, quick-cooking blend. When cooked it have creamy, delicate, nutty flavors.

Makes a unique risotto-style dish, salad. Perfect with game birds, duck, grilled mushrooms.

Cooking Instructions:

In a sauce pan add 1 1/2cups of water or broth / Cup rice, salt to taste.

Bring to a soft boil, lower the heat, cover with lid and simmer for 20-25 minutes or grain are soft but not sticky.

Turn off the heat, let the rice steamed in the covered pot at least another 10 minutes or until the rice has absorbed the liquid.

Fluff with fork and ready to serve.

One cup of rice will yield: 2 1/2 cups of cooked rice.
