This Black Quinoa is a naturally dark colored quinoa,has a slightly earthier and sweeter flavor than white quinoa. When cooked, has a delicate, fluffy texture with a slightly, nutty flavor and light crunch.
Use as the basis for pilafs, soups and stews, salads, breakfast porridge’s, cereal or dessert. White quinoa is also used as a thickening agent for soups and casseroles.
Cooking Instruction: Bring 2 cups water a boil. Add 1 cup quinoa, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. Drain excess water, cool and use immediately.
